Southern California Edison Co.’s outage map showed the disruption around the Winchester Canyon area and in nearby neighborhoods after the problem was reported shortly before noon on Oct. 4. The utility said crews were investigating the cause.
While crews worked to restore service in Western Goleta and continued examining what triggered the outage, Southern California Edison Co. reported that all but 23 customers were back online by 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 4. The utility said full restoration was expected by 10:30 p.m.
