The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office on Wednesday identified Benton Curtis Zeiser, 56, as the resident killed in Friday’s rollover accident at Sherman Avenue and Simpson Street, a few hundred feet from where Zeiser resided on the 2100 block of Sherman.
Evanston police and fire personnel responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m. Friday and located an SUV on its side with Zeiser, its driver, pinned underneath. Emergency responders lifted the car off of Zeiser and transported him to Evanston Hospital, where he died was pronounced deceased.
