Man pleads guilty to Jackson bank robbery

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A man pled guilty in connection to a Jackson bank robbery, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors said Christopher Quency Carter pled guilty on September 28, 2026, in federal court to armed bank robbery.

Officials identify man killed in George County crash

The incident occurred at the Chase Bank on I-55 Frontage Road in Jackson on May 9, 2026. According to investigators, Carter entered the bank and robbed it at gunpoint.

Carter is scheduled to be sentenced on January 26, 2027. He faces a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison…
