Three people cited during protest at Rockford Radisson Hotel

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Police cited three people during a protest outside the Radisson Hotel on East State Street, according to the Rockford Police Department.

Ariel Perez of Rockford was cited for an ordinance violation. Jessi Olazaba of Aurora and a 17-year-old Rockford male were cited for an ordinance violation and resisting/obstructing an officer. Rockford Police said they responded to the hotel around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday night following reports of people trespassing on the property.

Police say as the number of people increased, officers advised those present of the City’s noise ordinance and informed them that any continued violation would result in a citation being issued…
