Mass shooting charges: Woman fired into group of 100 outside Reign nightclub in retaliatory attack

Almost three months after a mass shooting injured nine people outside Reign nightclub in Minneapolis’ Uptown neighborhood, a woman has been charged for her alleged involvement.

The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office on Wednesday charged Veronica Marie Brown, 21, with one count of participating in a drive-by shooting and one count of second-degree assault for the July 19 shooting outside the Reign Event Center at 2901 Hennepin Ave.

The complaint against Brown alleges that retaliation was the motive for the shooting was an assault the night before at Vanquish Nightclub in downtown Minneapolis, with Brown’s boyfriend the victim…
