BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Marlo Hargrove says he has spent 25 years helping people coming out of prison find housing and support through his nonprofit, FACE, but he cannot understand why his repeated requests for government funding have “fallen on deaf ears.”
“We have no fraudulent background. We have proven success over 25 years. Is it personal or are we black labelled,” asked Hargrove.
Hargrove said FACE has been forced to rely on private contributions because public funding has been scarce. “Overall, it’s under $10,000 and its been 20-plus years,” he said…
