PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — For the first time, hospital security camera footage that captured a psychiatric patient attacking a nurse in Sept. 2023 has been viewed by individuals outside of law enforcement and attorneys.
The video was shown in the opening statements for the civil trial of a security company and two guards working at Rhode Island Hospital when Scott Amaral was attacked.
