Pawtucket, R.I. — Pawtucket’s Board of License Commissioners, made up of the City Council’s members, voted 7-0 to deny the renewal of Harmony Dog Training LLC’s kennel license on Patterson Avenue, according to the Pawtucket City Council’s published meeting recording. The council, sitting as itself later in the session, also voted to ask police and city departments to enforce truck and trailer parking rules along an industrial highway near the Lincoln line.
The session covered several bodies in a row: two council committees, the license board and the full council. Members also confirmed a set of Mayor Donald Grebien’s board reappointments, several over one councilor’s objection, and passed a Teamsters Local 251 pay schedule. The adjournment motion described it as the council’s first meeting at its new chambers on Freight Street.
