Brookfield Contractor Accused of Pocketing $25,000 From Nine Clients

A Brookfield-based contractor has left at least nine Milwaukee-area homeowners out more than $25,000 combined for renovation work that was never finished, according to former clients who say they were recruited through neighborhood recommendations on Nextdoor. Jaydin Perry-Strekow, 24, has worked under several business names while taking on contracting jobs.

As reported by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Perry-Strekow has been sued or charged three separate times over his contracting practices, including at least one case that ended in a conviction for misleading a buyer while signing documents. The outlet reports he solicited clients across both Milwaukee and Waukesha counties, often building trust through casual neighborhood posts rather than formal advertising.

The newspaper’s reporting shows Perry-Strekow has worked under several business names in recent years, including Design and Build LLC, Vision Landscaping, and Armor Home Renewal. The names have varied.

No Active License Since 2022

According to the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, none of Perry-Strekow’s business entities have held an active state contractor license since 2022, per the newspaper’s reporting.
