GREELEY, Colorado (CN) — Northern Colorado business owners sued Weld County over its approval of a GlobalAI data center proposal even after it failed to meet energy and noise requirements.
“The board of county commissioners ignored the overwhelming opposition of the public who submitted comments to the BOCC,” business owners write in the 26-page complaint filed Tuesday. “Even more critically, however, the BOCC ignored numerous fundamental flaws inherent within GlobalAI’s proposal.”
