LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A lawsuit filed by survivors and family members of the 2023 Old National Bank mass shooting in downtown Louisville is moving forward after a Jefferson Circuit judge denied a request to dismiss the case this week.
On April 10, 2023, a gunman opened fire inside the bank branch, killing five people and injuring eight others. A lawsuit was filed the following year against three companies: the gun store where the rifle was purchased, its supplier and the maker of weapon accessories the shooter used.
