LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Kentucky family is still waiting for answers seven months after their son died in a Louisville jail. Juan Miguel Munoz Penalver was found unresponsive on the morning of Feb. 26, 12 days after being arrested by Louisville Metro Police.
Munoz Penalver’s stepmother says they received little information from the Louisville Department of Corrections and last month filed a federal lawsuit against the city, requesting more transparency.
