ELLISTON, Va. (WDBJ) – A rezoning request that would allow up to 349 homes on the historic Fotheringay property in Elliston goes before the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors next week. The proposal has drawn pushback from some residents and groups like the Blue Ridge Land Conservancy, which has raised concerns about traffic, flooding, and the loss of rural character.
