Prologis, which is planning five data centers in San Jose alone, has contributed another $250,000 to the Yes on Proposition 45 campaign, according to records filed with the California Secretary of State. The contribution brings the San Rafael-based company’s contributions to the Yes on 45 campaign through its “Modern Infrastructure Alliance Action Fund” to $500,000.
Prologis’s data centers will be powered by PG&E, which recently routed another $1.8million to a committee supporting the Prop 45 campaign on top of past contributions to the Prop 45 effort of $250,000 and $500,000, upping the total amount of data center company-related contributions to the Yes on Prop 45 campaign to over $4 million.
