HAMILTON, N.Y. — A false report of a shooting threat at Hamilton Central School prompted a large police response and lockdown.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were sent to 47 W Kendrick Ave. in the Village of Hamilton at about 1:34 p.m. on Oct. 8 after a call claimed someone was entering the school with firearms and planned to start shooting.
Several law enforcement agencies across Madison County responded, and the school was placed on lockdown…
