LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — A lawsuit filed this week against the Conway School District alleges district administrators illegally took pay for days they did not work, totaling nearly half a million dollars over the course of a year.
The lawsuit was filed in Faulkner County Circuit Court on Tuesday by four retired Conway teachers and Faulkner County investigative journalist Jimmie Cavin.
“Money that taxpayers earmarked to go to teachers and to education to teach our children, not to line the pockets of school administrators. A half a million dollars. Think what that would have meant to the students at Conway,” Cavin said…
