The US Capitol Christmas Tree has been growing for decades in preparation for this holiday season. The tree chosen for 2026 has been growing in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest and will soon take a journey across the United States before being placed on the West Lawn of the the US Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.
Before it begins the trip to the White House, the tree will make a number of stops in Idaho and 8 other states. Twin Falls will be one of the lucky cities getting a visit on the tree tour in November.
