WKYT Investigates: Lexington police working to solve 63-year-old missing persons case

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Lexington Police are using DNA testing in an effort to solve the 1963 disappearance of Barbara Lunsford.

Barbara disappeared on October 12, 1963. Her family said she left her Lexington home for a doctor’s appointment and never arrived.

Her niece, Jennifer Grimes, never met Barbara, but she is now pushing for answers in her case…
