TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo Public Schools is one of several Ohio districts that’s made the switch to propane-run school buses. The Ohio Propane and Gas Association says about 1,000 school buses statewide now run on propane.
TPS Transportation Director John Krajeski said more than half of the district’s fleet runs on propane, and other school districts are asking how they can make the change.
“[They’re] Picking my brain, asking me, where’s your cost savings at? Are you seeing a difference performance-wise? Are you having any more issues from one side or the other?” Krajeski said…
