Commuters in Texas’ capital city will need to pack their patience during their morning commute on Friday, October 9 after a crash has resulted in hourslong delays along one of Texas’ most infamous highways.
Traffic database SigAlert reported just after 6 a.m. Friday that a crash involving an overturned vehicle had blocked some traffic lanes at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Braker Lane in North Austin. Originally blocking just one lane, an update just before 7:20 a.m. Friday confirmed the two right lanes of traffic where blocked along the northbound interstate, with vehicles backed up to U.S. Hwy. 183 and exits 239 and 240.
