Man posed as contractor, scammed victims out of $300K: Tarrant DA

A Tarrant County man will spend 30 years in prison after admitting to posing as a contractor to defraud customers, officials with the district attorney’s office said.

Jeremy Jerod Zeno was charged with theft of property valued at $300,000 or more after being accused of stealing money from five victims, according to a statement. Zeno would collect victims’ funds and later withdraw them in cash, which has not been recovered…
