TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – The Topeka Police Department is urging all drivers to slow down as the statewide Speed Enforcement Campaign begins.
According to TPD, the campaign began on Thursday, Oct. 8 and will run through Oct. 19.
The campaign is an effort to reduce speed-related crashes. According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, 181 of the 3,377 crashes reported in 2024 were speed-related. That makes up about 5.4% of all reported crashes…
