A fast-casual chain based in Oregon has set its sights on a new Tacoma location.
Oregon-based Café Yumm has filed plans to go into the Westgate North Shopping Center, 2601 N. Pearl St. The restaurant will be in the spot formerly occupied by Big Chicken, which opened in spring 2024 and closed January 2026.
The property is next door to Habit Burger & Grill.
Café Yumm filed for tenant-improvement permits Oct. 1, seeking an expedited review with planners at the City of Tacoma and is listed on the shopping center’s site map.…
