A lawyer for Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council member Emma Curtis has sent challenger and former council member Brenda Monarrez a “cease and desist” letter over endorsements listed on Monarrez’s website.
In turn, Monarrez’s lawyers have sent Curtis a letter asking Curtis to stop making what they say are misstatements about Monarrez.
Monarrez has a list of supporters on her website. Some of those supporters are listed by the titles of offices held in neighborhood associations in the 4th Council District, which includes neighborhoods south of New Circle between Nicholasville and Tates Creek roads…
