YOUNGSTOWN – An assistant prosecutor with the Mahoning County Prosecutor’s Office was fired after having lunch with a juror in a recent murder trial.
A spokesperson for the Mahoning County Prosecutor’s Office says during the murder trial of Darius Smith, assistant prosecutor Anissa Modarelli had lunch with a juror multiple times.
