Construction on the MetroLink extension to MidAmerica St. Louis Airport is now complete with revenue service expected to begin in the coming months. The $192 million investment comes as part of the region’s effort to strengthen connectivity and expand transportation options for residents.
State and local leaders along with transportation officials and project partners celebrated the opening with a ribbon cutting (see video below) at the new MidAmerica St. Louis MetroLink Station. The project came in three parts. The project includes a $154 million 5.2-mile extension from the Shiloh-Scott Transit Center to the MidAmerica St. Louis Airport.
