ALBUQUERQUE – Sunday’s New Mexico State Fair Quarter Horse Futurity, worth a purse of more than $1 million, is the headline event of an important day of racing for state-breds at Albuquerque Downs.
The final race of the nine-race program, the State Fair QH Derby features a full field of 10 qualifiers, which earned their way into the starting gate following trial heats held here on Sept. 24.
