ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority is issuing a systemwide precautionary boil water notice Friday effective immediately following the impacts of Hurricane Isaias.
The notice is being issued as a precaution to protect public health following the storm. Customers should assume their water may be affected and take the necessary precautions until ECUA announces that the notice has been lifted.
Until further notice, customers should bring tap water to a roiling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes or preparing food. Allow the water to cool before use…
