A Chilly Weekend Ahead
PORTLAND, Ore. — Fall weather is making itself known across the Willamette Valley after a cold front moved through Friday afternoon, bringing some light rain and a noticeable drop in temperatures.
There’s still a chance for a few showers Saturday, but most of the moisture has moved out. The bigger story this weekend will be the cooler air settling across the area.
Bundle Up for Game Day
If you’re heading to the Ducks or Beavers game this weekend, you’ll want to dress warm. Temperatures will struggle to get out of the 50s Saturday, with clouds sticking around at times.
It won’t be the warmest day to spend outdoors, so grab a jacket and plan for a chilly afternoon.
Cold Start to Sunday
Temperatures will drop even further overnight, falling to around 43 degrees by Sunday morning. For some, that might be the first morning of the season cold enough to turn on the heat.
It’ll be a brisk start to the day, but warmer weather is on the way.
Warmer Weather Returns Next Week
Temperatures will gradually climb next week, with highs getting back near the seasonal average of 68 degrees…
