Berry Hill Police Department — Department Investigating Vandalism
An elderly woman walked out of the Goodwill on Berry Road to find her Kia gouged by a deep scratch running from the driver’s door across the passenger door to the gas cap, and Berry Hill police say the damage appears to have been entirely random. Surveillance footage shows a man reaching out of the backseat of a moving vehicle and dragging something along the side of her parked car as the vehicle sped off.
The vandalism happened at the Goodwill store on Berry Road in Berry Hill, a small Davidson County satellite city, according to WKRN News 2, which reported that Berry Hill police shared both surveillance video and body camera footage of the crime with the station. The Goodwill location on 780 Berry Road operates as a regional hub with a retail thrift store, a donation warehouse, and an outlet store known as “the bins,” where shoppers buy items by the pound, according to Goodwill Middle Tennessee…
