ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – The Division 6 Roanoke Regional Swift Water Rescue Team is a group of first responders from Roanoke Fire EMS, Salem Fire and EMS, and Roanoke County Fire and Rescue.
The team has to be ready to respond to emergencies not only in Roanoke but potentially anywhere in the state and beyond. Training takes place year round with different types of drills, ensuring the team will be ready for any possible danger.
