Pat McAfee endured some real backlash for his College GameDay pick ahead of Saturday’s battle between Georgia and Alabama.
McAfee was the only member of the “GameDay” panel to pick the Bulldogs over the Crimson Tide with the crew on-site in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The selection was not popular among the crowd, but it was arguably less popular with two of McAfee’s fellow panel members.
After McAfee’s WWE-style buildup to his Georgia pick, Nick Saban jokingly grabbed him and feigned punching him. Guest picker Bryce Young took it a step further by grabbing McAfee and (gently) tossing him to the ground.

McAfee did apologize, though he was not taking back the pick…
