Syracuse basketball’s 2027 high school class is likely done after four-star wing/forward Ahmed Nur verbally committed to Southeastern Conference member Ole Miss on Saturday, per reports.
The 6-foot-9, 190-pound Nur took an official visit to the Orange in late August, and it went well. He also went on official visits to Ole Miss, Florida State and SMU. After the fall recruiting period began on September 9, SU assistant coach Ben Lee was in for Nur during an open gym at his high school, CIA Bella Vista in Phoenix, as Inside the Loud House first reported.
Nur transferred to CIA Bella Vista, which won last season’s high school national championship, for his senior year. He will also play for the City Reapers in the Atlanta-based league Overtime Elite alongside other CIA Bella Vista players…
