BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Officials with the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport confirmed a mechanical issue was causing longer wait times at their security checkpoint Sunday afternoon.
According to a post on Facebook, officials said the issue was impacting the TSA screening process, causing wait times to be longer than usual.
