An Ocala man has been officially identified as the winner of a $2 million Powerball prize that he purchased at a liquor store along State Road 200.
Following the expiration of Florida’s 90-day statutory privacy window for major lottery winners, Douglas Warren Franz was identified as the winner of the Powerball drawing on June 20.
Franz purchased the winning ticket at Quality Wine & Spirit, located at 6160 SW Highway 200 (Suites 113-115) in Ocala.
