SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – The 29th Annual Thunder By The Bay Music & Motors Festival will take place February 19-21, 2027, at the Sarasota Fairgrounds.
Lucy Nicandri, executive director of Suncoast Charities for Children, announced details of the event toady on Suncoast View.
Headline acts and festival activities
One of the festival’s headline acts, Cheap Trick, is a member of the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame. Other headline acts have received notable recognitions over the years inlcuding Bret Michaels and the Marshall Tucker Band
The weekend includes continuous live music, custom bike and car shows, a biker rodeo, charity rides, vendors, food, drinks and on-site camping.
Matching grant announced
The James M. Doss Charitable Foundation confirmed a $50,000 match grant toward all donations, outside of sponsorships, now through the festival.
Funds support local programs
The festival is Suncoast Charities for Children’s biggest fundraiser of the year. It has raised $3.3 million since it began to support programs and services for local children, teens and adults with special needs…
