Softball concluded its region tournaments and declared winners over the weekend and are now gearing up for the GHSA-wide competition to start Oct. 13.
The first and second rounds, also known as the Super Regionals, will run from Oct. 12-15 and Oct. 19-22 in a traditional best-of-three format. The higher seed in each matchup will host and the final eight out of each classification will advance to the coveted Elite Eight.
