Colorado breweries collected 34 awards at the Great American Beer Festival competition Oct. 11 at Denver‘s Levitt Pavilion, according to the Colorado Brewers Guild. The guild reported that 27 Colorado breweries received awards, including the Pro-Am Competition and Brewery of the Year honors but excluding cider awards.
The competition, produced by the Brewers Association, drew 7,267 entries from 1,300 breweries and cidermakers across the United States. A panel of 225 judges evaluated entries over six days in 105 beer-style categories.
