Agriculture in Wayne County extends beyond traditional grain production and dairy farming, as Skylar Brook Farm owners Dave and Christy Forrer, a husband-and-wife team, show through their recent participation in the Wayne County Farm Bureau’s 60th annual Farm Tour.
The farm, located in Orrville, combines Christmas tree production, alpaca raising, retail sales and an event venue and participated in the tour for the third time, giving visitors a chance to see how a former dairy farm has become a diversified agricultural business.
