Charlotte County deputies are asking the public to help locate 73-year-old Jessie James Green, whom the Sheriff’s Office has described as a missing endangered adult.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office alert says Green was born on June 15, 1953, stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and was last seen wearing a dark blue long-sleeve shirt, gray shorts and white shoes.
How a Silver Alert differs
The Sheriff’s Office described Green as a missing endangered adult; that does not establish that he was the subject of a Silver Alert. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says Silver Alerts are intended for missing people with an irreversible deterioration of intellectual faculties.
Ring Camera Footage Offers Last Known Sighting
The alert places Green’s last known sighting near Brisk Avenue at about 7:30 a.m. Monday, when he was seen leaving the area on Ring camera footage.
The alert does not provide further details about what happened before or after the sighting, or where Green may have gone.
