BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A suspicious white powder discovered inside a package at the Louisiana Secretary of State’s Office in Baton Rouge prompted an evacuation of part of the building Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 13).
Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry said an Elections Division employee opened a package around 12:20 p.m. at the office off Essen Lane and discovered the unknown substance.
Officials have not identified the powder, and no injuries have been reported…
