Deep Ellum’s Boots & Booze Opens With Breakfast, Cocktails and a Shotgun Chapel

Boots & Booze is scheduled to begin a phased opening in Deep Ellum on Friday, October 23. Its first phase will bring a walk-up coffee and sandwich window, an outdoor courtyard bar, and a working wedding chapel to 3014 Main Street. The concept comes from Dallas-based Wush Hospitality Group, across the street from Terry Black’s Barbecue.

According to CultureMap Dallas, the first phase includes three distinct pieces: the window walk-up kitchen, the courtyard outdoor bar and gathering space, and the Shotgun wedding chapel. Co-founder Sherry Hazrati said the goal is to make the venue a place guests return to for everyday visits as well as special occasions. The small commercial building the operation occupies measures 1,083 square feet and previously housed walk-up food stands including Monkey King Noodle Co., according to Movoto.

Breakfast Sandwiches, Honey Chicken and a Frozen Old Fashioned

The Window will serve coffee and breakfast on weekdays beginning at 6:30 a.m.; weekend brunch starts at 11 a.m., CultureMap reported. The menu shifts over the day, with examples including a crispy potato and egg sandwich at breakfast and a golden honey chicken breast sandwich, double onion chopped beef sandwich and Main Street Philly at lunch.

Dinner offerings include chicken and crispy potatoes, with an after-hours potatoes option for late-night diners. Weekend brunch brings hot honey chicken french toast and shareable brunch boards, alongside lighter and gluten-free choices. Drinks range from coffee and sodas to cocktails, wine and beer. One featured drink is the Cold Fashioned, a frozen old fashioned made with Still Austin whiskey, according to the same report.

A Courtyard Stage and a Functional Wedding Chapel
