The city of Houston issued more than 159,000 parking citations in the first eight months of 2026, with Memorial Park and Bush Airport among the top ticketing hotspots, city records show.
Expired-meter violations were the most common citation, accounting for 35% of the total. About 28% of tickets were issued to people parked in tow-away zones.
