LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — William Lawrence, a Lansing-area climate and housing organizer, is asking voters in Michigan’s 7th Congressional District to unseat U.S. Rep. Tom Barrett on Nov. 3.
Lawrence, a Democrat and co-founder of the national climate group Sunrise Movement, won a three-way primary in August by running to the left of two better-funded rivals.
