A Kentucky resident still had their physical payment card when unauthorized transactions appeared on their bank account. The complaint led Bowling Green detectives to a suspect who was preparing to fly from Indianapolis to Taiwan, according to police.
The transactions occurred Sept. 16, 2026, and were reported the following day. Investigators identified Lin Jo Yin, 38, of Taiwan and alleged that she obtained the card information without taking the card itself.
