An Osage County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post states a Sand Springs man who failed to appear in 2021 on two felony matters has been caught. A bench warrant was issued on November 16, 2021 after Larry Dunn failed to appear for being in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
When trying to serve the warrants to Dunn near Sand Springs on Monday afternoon, deputies were informed he was inside the residence, but Dunn didn’t respond. This came after multiple knocks on the door and phone calls.
With the homeowner’s permission, deputies were able to enter the home. Dunn was located in the attic where he was taken in without incident. Dunn later admitted to knowing about the warrants and was nervous when he heard deputies were looking for them…
