BATON ROUGE — A 30-year-old accused of attacking a waiter following a dispute over a check at a restaurant in August was arrested after an hours-long standoff along 73rd Avenue.
Clarence Green allegedly attacked an employee at Legend Pot, a restaurant at the corner of Staring and Essen lanes, on Aug. 20. Green and two other people were eating dinner at the hot pot and Korean barbecue restaurant and, when presented with the bill, Green disputed it, saying one of the people he was with didn’t eat a full meal but was charged full price.
