The online auction to sell the 80-acre site – where recovering alcoholics could go to enjoy a broad range of recreational and social activities without the pressure to take a drink – ended at 2 p.m. Oct. 14 with a tentative winning bid of $1.039 million, according to information on the McCurdy Real Estate & Auction website.
