LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – Real estate agents across Southwest Louisiana say scammers are going to new lengths to con renters out of their money, and in at least one case, convincing a victim to break the law to get inside a home.
Realtor Pamela Bell says it’s a problem she’s now dealt with firsthand.
