BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) has taken the first step toward selling its former headquarters and maintenance yard after commissioners voted to declare the properties surplus.
The ACHD Commission unanimously approved a resolution during Wednesday’s regular meeting, finding the properties located on Adams Street in Garden City are no longer needed for agency operations. The decision authorizes the sale process to move forward.
ACHD relocated their headquarters to Meeker Avenue in December 2025 and have begun construction on a new maintenance facility on Apple Street in southeast Boise. Operations are expected to move to the new maintenance yard by the summer of 2027…
